Lights, camera, action! Glom, Chiang Mai’s groundbreaking theatre group, is on the search for its next big star, and it could be you!

Introducing Chiang Mai Talent, this year’s most anticipated talent competition, designed to uncover the diverse and vibrant talent hidden in Chiang Mai. Positioned as a series of themed talent shows, each episode will be filmed in front of a celebrity judging panel with a focus on a specific talent style and winners announced the same day.

The first episode will be filmed on 27 April 2024 and is focused on finding Musical Theatre talent, with Thai actor and singer Witwisit “Pchy” Hiranyawongkul and British theatre extraordinaire David Cartwright as guest judges.

Same day cash prizes await the victorious, with the first prize winner taking home 15,000 THB and the runner-up 5,000 THB. But that's not all – winners will also earn the chance to perform at the grand GLOM Talent Show Extravaganza in December 2024 and earn paid work with Glom on future projects.
How to Audition
1. Submit a short video audition submissions to glomcnx@gmail.com
(please record your audition in landscape orientation in a quiet and clean space - we may use it in the TV show!)
2. Successful auditions will be invited to perform in front of our celebrity judge panel on Saturday 27 April 2024 (Filmed on set in Chiang Mai)
3. Winners will be chosen on the day, with cash prizes and award ceremony at end of day!
Winners can take home cash prizes and will be invited to perform at the GLOM Talent Show Extravaganza in December 2024.
1st Prize - 15,000 THB
Runner up - 5,000 THB
